I have a 92 en500a vulcan and i have a distinct tapping noise in top end t valve covers? Anyone know?

I'm not sure what it is? It gets progressively louder with rpm and it can be felt on the right rear side of the valve covers. Other than tapping engine runs beautifully. No sputters or spits. Idel is perfect. No smoke from exaust or oil leaks. Just need someone with some experience to tell me if its common and or fixable thanx guys.
