Would the shopkeeper sell me ciggarettes?

Im 16. If I wanted to buy ciggarettes would the shop keeper sell them to me? I mean I could make myself look older. If I looked 18 would the shopkeeper sell them to me or would he still check for I'd just to be sure? And also is there a legal age for buying panadol and tramil? Cause I was aloud buy them. Don't go on about how bad this is for me please!
