How would I go about getting a computer to aid my college education?

I've already maxed out my federal loans, I have bad credit so I can't get a student loan for it, and I need it for my field. I'm seeking an AAS in Networking, so having an up-to-date computer is necessary in keeping with my education and the changes in technology. Thanks for your answers!
