What are thoe strange things that I see flying around when looking towards the sun?

"Floaters" or "squiggly lines" are from debris floating around in fluid inside the eye casting a shadow on the retina. You might also see them more if you strain the retina. They're not usually a serious problem, however if they get worse you should have your eyes checked.
