Army Mechanic Question?

i was not a mechanic i was in communications, had friends whom where mechanics generally .......morning formation approx 0630 physical training until 0730 ....work day formation 0900 work till approx 1700 or until work is done...as far as where you will be stationed get that promised in your contract .as far as being deployed noone really ever knows for the most part until it happens...although there are units that do say 6 month rotations
