I am going to a new high school in a big city (olympia, wa). what should i do? any advice is welcome.?

advice on how to find a gf in a new city, friends, things to do in the period where i dont really have any friends. W/ *NO* yness whatsoever, im a pretty good looking guy and fairly outgoing, ive just never been in this situation.
